Long Pier/Vet Memorial
Braden Castle Long Pier
The long pier extends approximately NE from the Castle plaza into the Manatee River.
It was built in 1929 and is 700 ft long.

It has been damaged several times by various storms and each time it has been repaired and updated. In 2017 a group of volunteers tackled re-decking the entire length and fishing deck with Cumaru. The project finished ahead of schedule in six weeks!
